Fashion Friday: Casual Movie Outfit :P Denim, Lace, and Sweats!

YAAAYYYYY it's the first day of my spring break :D So of course, I had to celebrate by going out and watching a movie! My boyfriend took me to see GI Joe, and I didn't watch the first of the series, so I was extremely confused, and thus, I napped LOL. What a waste of a $15 movie ticket! But anyway, I just wanted to post my outfit for you guys to see hehehe~

So I layered a lace back light-washed denim top over a basic maroon cami. Lace back after all... can't be too revealing! And plus, I think the maroon really complements the light blue denim :3

I've had this pair of black sweats for a really long time actually, I wear them to dance on my lazy days when I don't want to wear yoga pants and stuff hahaha :P This pair is really comfy, and surprisingly warm! And I love it because they taper down into a skinny-ish leg. I don't really like those sweats with the abrupt line of elastic at the end lol.
Maroon cami - Wet Seal (I have them in like every single color lol)
Denim Top - TJ Maxx, the brand is called Sans Souci
Shoes - Baby Phat
Necklace from Taobao.

And one last camwhore pic :P

Alright, I've had a quite fun day today hehehhe, to my fellow highschoolers, hope you enjoy your break! And to those more diligent adults, enjoy your weekend!~~~
Lots of Love,
-Christine.

Hard Candy: Crush on Copper Swatches and Review

Hi my little sweethearts! Long time no talk! I've been so busy registering for college preview nights and booking tickets and all that stuff... So much work lol. So I was at Walmart a couple weeks ago to check out the new Hard Candy collection, but I only picked up one polish. Mostly because they were almost sold out of everything else hahahah. The one I chose is called Crush on Copper, it's a gorgeous gold-based metallic copper shade. The particles are quite big, giving it lots of reflect and shine. Not to mention that it's also a one-coater!!! :D

All pictures below are one coat polish without topcoat.

This is under flash, look at how the particles shine!
Sad thing though, these started chipping the next day... And when  I started to remove them, look what I discovered!
Gold particles under the copper! Adds so much dimension to this polish :3
I really enjoy this polish, and I've gotten so many compliments! From guys too! Surprising huh? Hahaha, I love the mirror like finish of it, it's really shiny and reflective in real life, especially under direct light! I'm so glad that I got to pick this polish up, and can't wait to try the others from this line hehehe
That's it for today's post! Hope you're all having a wonderful day

Wet n Wild Megalast Sugar Coat and 2% Milk Comparisons then Rhinestoned Mani!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm extremely happy today because I got my acceptance to University of Washington! Such an honor, they have a BEAUTIFUL campus, and not to mention, extremely close to where my dad lives too! So, definitely one of my top choices (:
As for today's post, I have a natural mani I wore to my dance competition that I want to show you guys. It features two very VERY similar polishes, Wet n Wild Megalast Sugar Coat, a very light lavender based pink jelly, and 2% Milk, a very light more beige toned nude jelly. In all the pictures below, I have on 2 coats of 2% Milk on all fingers except my ring finger which I have on 2 thick coats of Sugar Coat.

I feel that this picture captures how much more opaque Sugar Coat is!

Again, captures difference in opacity and also undertones.
Below are pictures without the rhinestones haha :P You can definitely tell that Sugar Coat is more opaque, but honestly, their differences are VERY minute.

This is 1 coat under natural lighting. Looks almost identical, except for opacity.
Here in the bottle, they look extremely different, you can see the more beige color of 2% Milk better in it's bottle, but it doesn't really translate onto the nail because it's a very sheer color.

All in all, I honestly think I don't need both of these, one is good enough haha. For me, the opacity at 2 coats is perfect because it gives a clean look without looking like I'm trying too hard, thanks to the slightly visible nail line.
That's it for today's posts, my sweethearts! Hope you're all having a fantastic week! Personally, I just wish March and April can just fly past, because 1) I'm so sick of highschool hahhaa, I have really bad senioritis! and 2) my beloved Jack哥哥, whom I mentioned a bit here, is coming back at the end of April and I can't wait! Heheheh, I'm off to do some homework now! Can't slack off, or I can't graduate :P
Byebye my lovelies~

OPI DS Opulence Reswatched!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm just living my March day by day hoping I get acceptances from colleges!
Today I have a preswatched polish for you guys called DS Opulence by OPI. I did a post about it before, here, but I don't think I did this polish justice. Honestly, it is one of my go-to polishes because it's safe and toned down, but at the same time, really sparkly and special! Such an amazing shapeshifter (: Lets get straight into it!

Opulence is a muted rose/mauve with speckles of shimmer in the shade/ indoor light, but under direct light, it turns into this gorgeous medium-deep rose with beautiful multi sized holo shimmer!
Middle finger 1 coat, rest two coats of DS Opulence, with flash. Look at that holo!
One of the reasons I love this polish, the beautiful subtle holo shimmer! *o*

And here in the bottle, you can see a slight green duochrome, which is only apparent on the nails when you tilt it at extreme angles.

A bit of the green duochrome.
Below, I will show you some more pictures of this polish in the shade, so you can really see how neutral/wearable it seems.

And then BAM, sunlight again~~~

Hehehe, I get so happy whenever I talk about this polish because 1) It reminds me of Jenni, and 2) My mom loves this polish as much as I do haha, beautiful beautiful beautiful polish (:
So glad to conclude a day talking about my favorite polish, makes me so happyyyy~
Thanks for reading, my lovelies~ I'll talk to you next time! :D

Fashion Friday Coral Formal! Plus My Favorite Pair of Heels :3

Happy Friday everyone! :3 I had a cooking presentation today, and also a publicity thing with the afterschool program I work at, so I figured I should dress up! But today, I'm not wearing a traditional black blazer, but I'm wearing a coral one! Hehehhe, dressing up makes me happy :P

And here's a super happy me showing off my favorite pair of heels! :D
I wanted to take a close up picture of my skirt, but it didn't work out really well :| anyway, it's just a ruched mesh type material on top of a basic cotton skirt. Super comfy! Not restricting at all hahaha. And also, in the below picture, you'll notice that I have NO NAIL POLISH ON! I've decided to let my nails take a rest because honestly, they've been peeling and breaking a lot lately ): It's a really big commitment for me, because as you guys all know, I LOVE NAIL POLISH hahahah. But for the sake of my nails, I'm going to let them be bare for a while. Don't worry though! I have a few pre-swatched polishes that I want to show you guys, so I will have some nail polish blog posts up, but most will be fashion related. Sorry la >.<

Ruffly Blouse: Abercrombie & Fitch
Coral Blazer: Wet Seal
Black Skirt: Forever 21
Pink Bow Heels: Princess by Vera Wang

And here's one last camwhore shot before I leave :P
Hehehe, okay that's it for today! I'll talk to you guys soon, I have a dance performance again tomorrow so gotta wake up early!
Goodnight sweethearts

Small Wet Seal Jewelry Haul (:

Hi sweetcakes! I have another short and sweet post for you guys today because there are a lot of people over at my house so I don't wanna spend too much time on my computer. Not really polite hahah :P
Anyway, last last week, when Wet Seal was having their 50% off Jewelry haul, I picked up 4 items, and I want to show them to you here :3

Me with the new earrings! They're super jingly and pretty! :D
Here are the 4 things I got, sorry I got too excited over the little bow cuff that I instantly ripped off its tag so I can wear it hahah :P

Spike 2 finger ring

And I noticed that the rhinestones on the ribbn cuff is the same color as the rhinestone on the chiffon charm bracelet! :D

So pretty heheheh :3
Prices, and at 50% off, they're such a steal!
I'm so happy that I made this purchase, and I've been wearing the spike ring everyday now! Hahaha, I'm such a bling girl, so things like this make me really happy :P
Anyway, hope you guys are having a wonderful week! I'm going to go back to my studying now hehee, talk to you guys next time!

Olive Forever 21 Polish

Hi my sweet cupcakes! I have a quick post today to share with you guys, this has been on my nails for almost a week now, and it's a shimmery murky green/yellow/olive F21 Polish. No topcoat in any of the pictures! Mostly because I was in a rush, and ended up forgetting hahaha
Pretty *o*
And on a whim, I picked up the Sephora by OPI black shatter at TJMaxx for $3.99 ahaha, even though I rarely ever use crackle polishes :P Can't pass up a good deal! Anyway, this olivey green has been sitting in my untrieds for a while now, and I couldn't find anything to paint my nails, so I decided to paint it with this color! Love the color after I tried it on, I can definitely see myself wear this more in the fall time.
With flash, shimmer particles are BLINDING under direct light! Loooove it :D
Also, this polish is extremely opaque at one coat, which is on my ring finger under the shatter. Have a pic to prove it!

Super opaque and pretty! F21 has not been letting me down with their polishes lately! I've seen quite a few posts of really nice F21 polishes, and that makes me want to go buy some more hahah xD

Okay, that's it for the super quick post today! Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend so far! Talk to you again soon

Fashion Friday Firmoo Glasses Review :D

Hi my lovelies! Do you see anything different about me in the above picture? Hehehhe yup, I'm wearing glasses! I normally wear nighttime contacts, the ones you wear to sleep and in the morning, you have perfect vision. But look at how tedious it is compared to a simple pair of lenses!

For Fashion Friday today, lucky enough Firmoo was nice enough to contact me and out of the wide arrange of choices, I chose this pair of glasses for those days when I'm too lazy to go through all the hassle of putting in contacts. Firmoo is a very successful online optical company (might I include that they have 500,000+ fans on fb!), who stocks anything from designer glasses, to sunglasses, and everything in between!  Although glasses are worn to correct vision, they can also be a fashion statement! Here's what Firmoo has to say:

The old opinion that glasses are only necessities for people with vision problems has already gone. Glasses are increasingly becoming a fad and must-have accessories for  celebs and fashionistas. Everyday we can spot millions of non prescription glasses wearers and we are constantly fascinated by many noted film stars’ signature non prescription glasses. They instantly upgrade your look of modern, sexy, vintage or geek by wearing different styles of frames.
Any hot glasses/sunglasses /goggles frames you want can be found on Firmoo, and all are available for both prescription lenses and non-prescription lenses. Are you desperate to have a new look? Now here is the chance, Firmoo has launched a First Pair Free Program to people  worldwide. You will absolutely fall in love with the excellent quality, affordable prices, fashionable designs, fast delivery and the good service after trying them with paying shipping only! You even can get a refund/exchange if you are not satisfied with them. It's totally Risk free, so why not have a try?

Like they mention above, Firmoo is also nice enough to offer a free pair of glasses for first time consumers, we only pay the shipping! Here are some pictures of a few of the amazing glasses up for grabs! They have a huuuge selection!
Taken from Firmoo.com
Firmoo also has a virtual try-on option, which allows you to upload a picture and see what the glasses look like on you! Here's mine:
Pretty accurate, might I say!

Anyway, back to me, I was super excited to get these because I thought they would be a perfect replacement for my lost Ray Bans that I mentioned to you guys a while back. But once I got it, the case looked like this ):

I can tell its pretty nice quality, but because it's shipped from China, to Jamaica, then to here, it must've been through a lot of hardship ): But that's okay, because luckily I have my old Ray Bans case. The customer service is very nice about it too, so no problems there. Okay, let's get to the glasses!

Comes with a nice blue cloth, very big! I like :D
Along with the case, it also comes with a black suede pouch and a little keychain with a screwdriver.

Beautiful glasses, aren't they? Lenses and frame are very smooth and shiny, very nice quality. The black suede pouch feels really nice and is big enough to fit the case inside. I was so excited to try it on! But with glasses, I can't wear lashes because they're inconvenient when blinking as they touch the lens lol, so excuse my small eyes!

Comfort is great, color is amazing, matches with anything, and the camo print on the inside, LOOOVE IT! So great to match with any type of outfit!
Doesn't it make me look smart? ;)
All in all, I love these glasses and I would give it a
9.8/10
-0.2 because the case arrived damaged! And the whole top was shifted down and out, and could've really damaged the glasses. Anyway, I love this pair! I'll definitely wear these more, and finally, thank you Firmoo for letting me review these!
Have a nice Friday night everyone, talk to you guys next time! (:
-Christine.
