Color Club Winter Affair Duo: Gift of Sparkle and Anon Glitter Swatches and Review. Prizes of Jenni :3

Hi my sweethearts! Soooo, I have a really special post for you guys today! It's another giveaway prize from the lovely Jenni of I Relish Nail Polish. 2nd time! I'm one LUUUCKY girl :D I just wanna say thank you Jenni (:

So let me show you guys some swatches and then show the amazing packaging she used :3

In the below pictures, I have 2 coats of Gift of Sparkle and 1 coat of Glitter on my ring and thumb.
Artificial Lighting

Natural Lighting

Gift of Sparkle is a very dense and thick glitter polish consisting of dark purple, red, and sparse holo glitter suspended in a slighting plum tinted base.
This is one coat of Gift of Sparkle.
And this Anonymous glitter is anonymous because Color Club's duos always dont have names.... And I couldn't find this glitter listed anywhere in the Winter Affair collection, but oh well, I forgive Color Club because its GORGEOUS. Seriously, I can't even describe it, it's like little hexagonal iridescent glitter that flashes from orange/light pink to teal/blue. OMG LOVE.

I think the bottle would give a better idea of the effect. SOOO PRETTY.

All in all, I love this duo! Although Gift of Sparkle is a bit thick, I think it's worth it because the glitter is so dense. And that holo! You all know I love holos :3 Hehehe, and the Iridescent glitter's formula is very nice too, nice amount of glitter for each coat, no need to fish or anything like that. And a plus? THEY'RE SOOOO SPARKLY.
Direct sunlight! Blurred to show you how sparkley it is!!!

Bottle shot :3
And now, let me amaze you with the adorable packaging! Along with bubblewrapping everything, she even wrapped the individual polishes with tissue! How considerate! Thanks Jenni :D

 AND OMG. ARE YOU READY:

Hand written note! :3333
Jenni, you're such a sweetheart! I'm so glad to have made a friend like you through blogging. Honestly, that's the best part of blogging: being able to know so many amazing people and build bonds. Thank you guys so much! c:
Love, Christine.

Amway Magnetic Nail Polish: Artistry Swatches and Review

Happy Sunday guys! I'm trying to sneak a post in before I go to dance class at 12, haha. I have a really pretty purple magnetic to share with you guys today. It's from Amway's beauty line, Artistry. My mom is an IBO, so she often buys new products for us to try out. I believe this came out with the new holiday line of Artistry and it also came with a Light-Up Lip Gloss in Confetti, which I'll swatch and review if you guys want me to!

So, let's get on with the pictures!
1 coat with magnet applied.

As I said in the previous post, magnetic nail polishes remind me of 3-D boards :P And this one is a really gorgeous one too! The smoky purple, when magnet is applied, turns into a very dark maroon color, which produces those waves you see. The packaging of this is really similar to the ones from Color Club, circular with magnets attached to the lids.

Doesn't have a name .___.
Formula on this was great, it wore for a good week! Very easy to apply, and like most magnetic nail polishes, one coat opacity. Love this <3 p="p">Alllll right, hope you enjoyed today's post! Let me know what your favorite magnetic polish is in the comments! Love you guys, ttyl! :3

Wet n Wild Disturbia Review and Swatches

Hi my sweetcakes! Today, I have a vampy color that came out for Halloween, if I'm not mistaken. It's Disturbia by Wet n Wild, a dark eggplant purple with very subtle microshimmer.

2 coats under direct sunlight. Look at that beautiful purple base!

2 coats.

Flash 1 coat

Flash! Look :D

Flash, trying to capture shimmer lol

Lookie, my friend and I had on the same nail polish! Totally coincidence too haha
The formula on this was really easy to work with! Smooth and easy to apply, like most Wet n Wilds, the only complaint I have is that with the Mega Last line, their brushes are big. And sometimes, they're not all the same size, so when they make it slightly bigger, it can end up being too big and very troublesome to get a nice cuticle curve. ):
And also, I realized that this somewhat resembles Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI, but that is WAYYY darker and way more black. I already frankened my LPAD because it was way too dark and too close to black so I added a lot of white and clear polish. :P

Allllllright, that's it for today! Have a nice day everyone :3

Milani Nail Lacquer: Lavender Fizz and Pink Flare Glitter Swatches and Review

Hi my sweethearts! Happy No H8 day! I guess I can semi-say that I'm participating because I have a purple glitter for you guys right? :P But anyway, seriously. Bullying, it wasn't something I grew up with, but it was definitely something I had witnessed a lot. Being a girl, I would always see groups of girls accepting some, yet rejecting others, and trashtalking them in the process. Right to their faces. Thats not okay :\ Leaving someone out like that, and especially saying extremely mean things. I'm hoping that people will begin to realize how much it hurts that person, because it really can be devastating, to be rejected by a social group and be the hot topic of gossip and rumors.

So here today, coincidentally, I have a lavender purple glitter, and a light nude/pink glitter from Milani. First, let's talk about Lavender Fizz.

Natural Lighting, 2 Coats

Lavender Fizz is a GORGEOUS  lavender glitter with a bit of fuchsia undertones. Just a bit. It's very opaque, because it has different sizes of glitter, and the small glitter really does fill up a lot of space.

1 Coat, gritty! Top coat eater!
And oh my oh my... This polish is sooooooo blingy!!! Like, when I wear my rings with this, THIS OUTBLINGS MY RING. Seriously. I can't even begin! Love this polish sooooo much :3 Definitely going to be getting a lot of wear out of this :D

And here's a bottle shot to show how dense the glitter is!
Now next, Pink Flare, a medium pink with slight nude/orange undertones. These pictures are not very true to color, this polish is a bit less pink in real life :P

3 Coats

This is a bit more true to color. But it's not this nude either hahah, it's like a mix between this picture and the above pictures!
1 Coat.

AND HOLOOOO YAAAY
I also really enjoy this polish, because YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT MY LOVE FOR HOLOS :3 Heheheh, on the nails, its not as blingy as Lavender Fizz but it definitely is very sparkly! AND LOOK AT THE HOLO:

Heheheh, all in all, I really love these two polishes!!! Looooove~~~ I know that I will be wearing these quite a bit hehe. The formula was amazing for Lavender Fizz, the brushes are small, but big enough to get a nice curve around the cuticle for perfect application. The consistency was really smooth as well. Pink Flare was a bit on the sheerer side, but I can see it as a layering glitter~
Alright, that's it for today! Stay safe and have a great memorial weekend :-*

Halloween Mani: Candy Corn! + Swatches of Wine and Dined

Hahahah hi guys! Long time no see! I've been getting so lazy lately :P I actually took lots of pictures of my manis, but I get so lazy and I dont edit them, so I dont post them lol.

BUT ANYWAYYYY, here is my halloween mani! Candy Corn yay! Kind of overrated because everyone is doing these lol, but I wanted to show case the base color: Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Wine and Dined.

OMGGGG. SHIMMER :D

I like the designs on my thumbs a bit more than the ones on my ring finger haha :P And trust me... they look pretty neat in real life lol, cuz nobody puts their face 3cm from my nails and stares at the designs xD but... guess I shouldn't be making excuses :\
I just used 2 coats of Wine and Dined, drew on triangles with white acrylic, and filled them in with orange and yellow acrylic :3

AND HEEERE are the swatches for Wine and Dined! Sadly though, the shimmer is really hard to capture... and I NEED to tilt my nails for the particles to catch the light so they can actually show up... but then there's the stupid glare .______________. I actually think the ones above show you how pretty the shimmer is, while these are just to show you the brown/gray base color (:

This is 3 coats. It's very sheer...

1 Coat

This is a very very sheer polish. It does build up nicely though, I used 3 coats. I feel that this would be nice for a jelly sandwich :P The formula on this was smooth, a bit streaky on the first coat, but perfect when you build it up.
One thing I have to say, though... This polish does NOT last a long time... 2-3 days, and it starts chipping on me. Like NO JOKE. I usually get a week before chipping and tip wear, but this... :\

Alright, that's all for today! Hope you guys have an amaaazing halloween! Love and Kisses to all of you :* And hope you guys have a safe night of trick-or-treating for those who are going!

Color Club Take Wing: Sky High

Hi my sweethearts! Long time no see! School started, and it has kept me very busy... sigh...
But anyway, here I have a swatch of Sky High for you, from Color Club's Take Wing collection. It's a beautiful teal based blue that has gorgeous purple shimmer with almost a glassfleck finish. I also got two others from this collection and I'll swatch it next time :3
This polish was a PAIN to photograph! The purple and teal shimmers just don't wanna show up ): stupid camera... I blame you dslr!!!

I believe this is one thick coat. If you do a thin coat, it can be quite sheer, but one generous coat is fine.
One Coat
Can you see the purple? I tried really hard, but my camera just doesnt like purple I guess... But it is quite visible in real life.

Here's a better look at the teal base, it's really shiny under direct light! Glassflecks are always gorgeous under the sun to :3

Here's a better look at the purple duochrome-ish shimmer! It does show up quite nicely on the nail, along with some subtle teal/green shimmer too.

Great color, but doesn't suit my skin tone. A bit too... blue. Hahaha, too bright, I could see this working for darker skintones or a cooler skintone! Still, doesn't change the fact that I love this color :3 Formula was great, dries faily quickly, and goes on super smoothly! If you want thin even coats, I would suggest 3, but 2 really is good enough.
Hehehe, that's it for today! Until next time :3
