Super Excited! Fortune Cookie Soap Box Winter 2013 + Video! :D

Hi everyone! I'm super excited to be sharing with you guys something that I've been really looking forward to receiving recently. And that's the Fortune Cookie Soap Box!!! Wheeeee~~ The theme of the winter box is Nightmare Before Christmas! And I'm suuuuch a sucker for Tim Burton movies :3 Let's get straight into the pictures!

So this is what the box looks like when you first open it:

Comes with a card with a gorgeous design up front and descriptions of the scents on the back~

So first, let's start with the Jack Bath Fizzy! It's in the shape of Jack's head, and it smells soooo delicious!
It has "notes of iced lemon and airy menthol, warmed by woodland moss and smashed cranberries". The lemon and the menthol are definitely the more overpowering scents, but not in a bad way! Super wintery scent, and I love it!

Next is the Sally Fortune Cookie Soap. This one smells the most typical to me: just plain clean laundry. It says "fresh breezes, fluttering white cotton and dry crackling leaves, held together by twine". This phrase totally makes me think of Sally hehehe and the design of the soap is super cute! But then again, the scent is just very clean cotton to me.

This next one is a super cool one! It's a hand sanitizer, but it has a bug in it! How ironic hahaha, and it smells really good too! Not super strong, but "a mix of winter berries against a backdrop of sweet muted cinnamon". The cinnamon isn't very noticeable when you smell it out of the bottle, but it definitely is pretty overpowering when you put this on your hands. I only have one complaint with this though, is that the bottle is very hard. Like, not easy to squeeze. But eh, I can get over it. Such a cute product!

Zero Dry Shampoo! My favorite little Halloween puppy hehehe, I love him so much that I have a doll of him sitting in my room this very moment! Anyway, this smells like "ghostly billows of sweet peppermint, with just the faintest whisper of pumpkin".

Okay, this was the one that I wasn't able to pinpoint in the video: Christmas Town Whipped Cream Body Butter. The scent is "blend of mulled fruits, followed by a crisp, green Douglas Fir middle-note darkened by warm patchouli, and musk". Smells just like Christmas! Reminds me of when I was young and my family actually bothered being "Christmassy".

This is the Lock, Shock, and Barrel Bath Melt. Just look at this guy's face! Hahaha, love it already! Smells like "frosted woods of pine and spruce, warmed with hints of spice". This one is also a very Christmassy scent, and I really like it. I think it's because of the woody tree scents that are in these products that make me love them so much!

Sandy Claws Exfoliating Body Butter. "Chocolate and Chai and Yumminess." I honestly don't smell chai at all, it's just pure milk chocolate to me! And this felt really moisturizing when I took it out with my hands, so I'm really excited about this one!

And laaaast but not least! The mystery scent! What's This Roll on Perfume! If you can guess this scent, then you can win a prize! I honestly suck at describing and knowing scents.... This one just smells very sweet and like food! With a little bit of berry in it hahaha, I wouldn't use this as a perfume though. Not a perfumy scent, but a room/house scent. I'm just leaving this out in my bathroom :P

Hehehe, that's it for this post! A very long one haha, but I'm super super happy about this :3 And also, making videos is really fun! Tell me if you guys like videos or not and I'll take that into account for next time~

Thanks for reading!
Love you guys~

Water Decals Explanation Ft. Born Pretty Store~

Hello sweet buns! Omg, I am soooo excited to be home for 6 days for Thanksgiving break, you don't even know! Love this season~ What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving?
Anyway, today I'll be showing you something that is fairly new to me: Water Decals. Born Pretty Store kindly sent them to me, but being the dumbo that I am, I had to ask Daisy, the sales representative, for help on applying these! Since I had a bit of trouble applying them, I'm going to show you guys how to, just in case you guys have the same problem as me haha! These water decals can be found here, mine's in the 3rd design.

Here is what they look like on. Super pretty and instant nail art! Very convenient if you don't have brushes or stamps in handy! And it is also thinner than a sticker, so it sticks to your nail bed a bit better.

These come in a whole sheet with 80 "nails" each containing 3-4 designs. Lots of the designs are different! Unfortunately, I ripped my sheet when I was trying to open the package hahaha :P

So this was the sheet I chose:

The trick to putting these on is you have to wet them thoroughly first, then SLIDE off the design using your finger:

Then you press it on your nail.
Take my warning and do not apply it like a false tattoo!

Anyway, these are really great. Definitely simple enough to apply, and what can be better than instant nail art? ;D I would give these a:
5/5
Born Pretty Store also has tons of other nail art supplies too! Whatever you can think of, they have it! I have a 10% off code for my readers here, feel free to use it :D

Heheheh, that's it guys, have a wonderful day and talk to you next time!
Love,
Christine

Leather Spikes~ Oasap Headband Review!

Today's post is about something that I've been looking for for a while now! It's the Punk Spike Embellished Headband from Oasap. I've seen many many bloggers wear this and ROCK IT! Including Cheesie, a really famous Asiam blogger, LOVE HER STYLE. So, this definitely did not disappoint me! Let's get to the pictures~

I feel like I look like a badass here cuz of the spikes! Love it~~~

It has a leathery base with studs and spikes alternating on top. Adds lots of fun and style to your look without trying too hard!

The inside is metal, so it doesn't give you as much grip, but it does stay on without falling if you don't make big movements.

In case you couldn't tell, I really love this! It's super fun to wear and also black isn't a very bold color, so it can be worn with almost anything! The leather material is very nice and sturdy, and the studs are quite shiny as well. Definitely does not look like super cheap material. This head band costs $7.00! And it can be found here in many other colors like pink and white! :D All in all, I would give this a:
5/5
Very worth it if you ask me! :3
That's it for this post, and have a wonderful day guys~
Also, feel free to leave a comment on what you're planning to do over Thanksgiving break! I'm going to go to Olympic park with the family over the weekend~ Will keep you guys updated!
Love,
Christine

Elegant Red Gown: An Oasap Review

Good evening to you! I have some wonderful news, I am currently employed! Start my job this Friday so I will give you guys more details in my next post~ This post is about this gorgeous red gown from Oasap. It immediately caught my eye because of the criss-cross pattern on the neckline. It's a very relaxed fitted floor length dress, and it is very long. It says 148cm, but I'm 5'9" and it is almost perfect when I wear my 4.5" heels.

I look really stupid and caught out in this picture, because I'm trying to show you guys the amazing silhouette it creates when you spin!

This dress is a gorgeous bright red color, unlike the color on the product link.
The front of the dress is definitely the most beautiful, just look at that gorgeous neckline! No need for a necklace~

And also, there is a satin slip underneath the intricate mesh/netting material on the outside of the dress. Not sure what to call it, but it's quite stretchy so I would say it definitely would fit an array of sizes.

This dress is gorgeous! Definitely can be dressed up or down depending on the event. I can see it as a nice summery dress with some wedges and accessories, or I can see it as a night gown with a fancy bejeweled belt and nice hairdo. And at $25.9, it's definitely an amazing deal! Sorry I got kind of excited hahaha, one down part though, is that this dress is really long, so I don't think it would be suitable for shorter girls under 5'5". All in all, I would give this dress a:
5/5
Again, this can be found here.

That's it for this post, and have a wonderful day guys~
Love,
Christine

KKCenterHK Lashes ES A-601 Review~~ Plus 10% Off!

Hi my peppermint chips~ How are your guys' weeks so far? This definitely does not feel like a Thursday to me because I didn't have school Monday or Tuesday! Love long weekends~

So as you guys might've heard me say before, fake lashes are becoming more and more important in a girl's makeup routine! Definitely mine, if I had a special event~ So, today I'll be showing you some beautiful lashes that  KKCenterHK sent me~ These are the ES A-601 10 Pairs Handmade Glamour Short Eyelashes (Transparent Stem).

These lashes come in a nice sleek black box. I usually throw the box away and just take out the lashes because I feel that the box takes up too much space lol.
This particular set comes with 10 pairs of lashes, all handmade! If you can't read Chinese, the red words say "Purely hand-made". The design is quite natural but very voluminous. Not quite lengthening though.

I have no idea why the next picture is so light, Blogger just made it weird lighting when I uploaded, wtf?? Anyway, the point is that the clear band is very long, so trimming is definitely needed before wear.

Okay, let's get to the results!

I would definitely say that these lashes are not so lengthening, but very volumizing! Dramatic without being too over the top. All in all, I really like these! The band is stiff enough for easy application and to hold throughout the day. And, at $15.14, that would mean each pair is $1.51! Super good deal, if you ask me! I would give these a:
5/5
Just a quick reminder, make sure you do trim the band up to the lashes, or else it will irritate your eyes!

Again, these can be found here. Be sure to use this code when you do make a purchase~
That's it for today, I hope you guys all have an amazing week~ And thanks for reading!

Halloween Mani? Born Pretty Store Bow Review~

Hi my pumpkin cakes! How are your Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day weekends so far? I'm home with my daddy this weekend, and I have to say, being with family is really nice :3 So I did this mani for halloween, but I never got around to posting it because I've been soooooo darn busy, so here it is! I used bows from Born Pretty Store~ Love them! Did a review on them before here, but this time it's in a different color: PINK :D

For this mani, I started with Sinful Colors Cloud Nine then stuck on my circle stickers for the halfmoon with black. Finished with nameless glitter from China.

This picture is a bit more accurate of the bow's true colors. It comes in a pack of 10, and for only Less than $3 I think it's quite good! You can find these here in many different colors. Like I said before, these are flat, so they do not fit to the nail shape very well, but that just makes them more versatile to use elsewhere, like decorating a phone case etc.
This is a picture from last time when I reviewed the white bows. They're around 1 centimeter big, so they fit my fingers quite well, not too large not too small. All in all, I really like these because they're really cute and they're very versatile, don't have to put them on your nails. And also, I think that the flatness brings a bit more dimension to the nail, although some may not like it. These lasted a week on me, and I used super glue because I ran out of nail glue..... So those who just use nail polish may experience a shorter lasting time. So, I would give this product a:

5/5
Really love having these on my fingers because everyone gets so intrigued by my nails! Definitely worth, in my opinion. (:
Okay, that's it for today, hope you guys have a nice weekend!
