Hello my little sweetbuns! So I flew out to Seattle this morning at 8 (had to wake up at 5:30 oh god .___.) and my dad took me to the Tulip Festival! It has fields and fields of perfectly aligned tulips in vibrant colors. Wow, it was such a breathtaking sight! My dad and I both brought our cameras, and he set his to a higher exposure so if there are small color/lighting differences in the pictures below, I apologize!
And of course... Washington... Rainy gloomy weather lol, wet and dark! Thank God it stopped raining when we got to the fields though hahaha :P Anyway, let me share with you the gorgeous pictures :D
This is when you first walk out into the field. Greeted with gorgeous red tulips! So pretty :3
As we walked further into the fields, we came across the lavender and purple colored ones. Let me just tell you, the dark purple ones were so dark that they're almost leaning on black. So mysterious and magical!
Getting a little bit sunnier! YAY :D
I feel like my "kneel" here is very feminine hahahah :P
So... I was happily strolling across the field enjoying the beautiful view, until one of my boots got stuck in the mud -___________-
Goddd, WHY MUST IT RAIN ON THE DAY I VISIT QQQQ IT DIDN'T RAIN LAST WEEK! My poor UGGS ):
So after we finished touring the fields and taking 12941705 pictures, we started to head back. Here's a picture I took at the windmill near the entrance.
They actually dyed the water blue, so at the watermill, you can see bright blue water trinkling down! SO COOL :D
LOOOOOOK! PAINTER CREATING A MASTERPIECE!!!
You can clearly see the dyed blue water here lol. So blue.
So, after a cold and wet experience enjoying tulips, we went to the Tulalip Casino to eat a bit, and look what I found on the native indian totem pole o___o
Hehehhe, so you've reached the end of this super long pic heavy post! I actually tried to keep the number of pictures to a minimum, but I took so many pretty pictures and I wanted to share sooo.....hehehhe :D
All in all, I had an AMAZING time today. Sure, my ears and my face were freezing and my UGGS were half destroyed, but the view is truly priceless. Vast and endless fields of tulips stretching out in front of your eyes, it's really an eye opening experience. I'm so glad that my dad decided to take me here because it definitely is not something I can see back in California (:
Thanks for reading, sweethearts! I'll be visiting UDUB on monday and I'll update with a Trip to Seattle Part 2!
Tons of Love and Kisses,
